Comedy music artists have sung “praises” for bacon. It goes well with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is even a “bacon of the month club” where members can receive twelve different kinds of gourmet bacon from specialty meat shops.
So, in your opinion, is bacon the perfect comfort food?

my favorite bacon recipes are:
grilled cheese on rye with BACON
hot dog stuffed with cheese, wrapped with 2 slices of BACON, and deep fried

Not by itself for me, but mixed with mashed potatoes I would say that would be comforting to me.

Bacon added to a good Veggie soup would be comfort food for me.
I don’t think it’s a good comfort food. Only because it always makes me feel “heavy” after I eat bacon. But I wish it didn’t because I love it so much! ;o)
