My mother in law came in to stay with us for a couple months because i just had a baby and she wanted to help so she came with her small dog who is very cute but only that. (the dog doesn’t play or anything ) .Anyways since she got here she’s been making her little dog this gourmet food that we don’t even get to eat and makes her oatmeal in the morning or for example last night she made dog food for everyone i’m sure it was ok taste wise but i hate to think of us eating after a dog especially that i’m breastfeeding …
I’m just curious to see if anyone knows anything about this “disorder”
We have a dog also that we love very much and we treat him like a dog (exercise,food ,affection) and we defenitely don’t buy salmon just for him!!

My mother inlaw does the same thing. I really can’t figure it out. Im guessing they are like her kids now and she has the need to nurture them like this.
wow. how about u just let her do her thing, but u can h=get the food for the HUMANS in the family to be done forst, and out of POPLE food.
also, u can try to convince her if she would be ok with the dog first getting the scraps and then if he hasnt had enough, he can have something else
