Oooh, if you really want to make her feel comfortable, ask the restaurant to make a mother-in-law menu for your guest. It’s a menu without prices on it. Or ask if they have a chef’s table that your dine at.
Never been to Milwaukee, but I can tell ya where not to go. Don’t go to any chain restaurants like Outback and stuff. Pick a place that is nice but not fancy. Too much pressure and serious. Lastly, I wouldn’t count on money impressing anyone, hopefully it will be your witty humor or your great taste in restaurants. Good luck.
