Where Should We Stay For Christmas/new Year’s In Texas?

We live right outside of Houston and would like to go away for a week or two during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday. We just moved out here and don’t know what city/cities to visit. Any suggestions on what places we should visit? We like gourmet food and wine, we don’t have any children and would probably like something on the relaxing side.
