Hello everyone, I’m 13 years old and am already planning my future to be a pro-chef! I am already working towards my many recipes of which will be placed in a book you will see in stores being mass produced 20 years from now!
My recipes are not chocolate chip cookies, or eggs. I take my recipes quite seriously, and I try to make very intricate, beautiful gourmet foods. Although, I like to make sensible healthy dishes from the gourmet culinary arts, to the basic home cooking.
Here is my first recipe:
Name: Chicken VS Fruit
Description: I take 1/4 cup of olive oil, and 1/3 cup red wine vinager, just a little paprika, some garlic salt, and quite a bit of chopped basil leaves. Next put that all in a plastic baggie, and mix it up a bit. Then put your chicken breast in there, and let it marinade in the baggie for about 15 minutes. Cook it on the stove till brown. Put it on top graham cracker with a slice of watermelon and grapes!
Calories: About 150.
Filling?: YES!
Now comment!

Not sure about the Graham cracker but the rest seems quite yummy. Keep up the dream though.
YUK!!
I don’t know about the graham cracker, but I am willing to give it a shot. Aside from graham cracker it sounds great! Keep up the great work, and I wish you all the best in your future being a chef.
That sounds really good.
… Its making me hungry. Now Ill have to try it!
the whole graham cracker thing had to go….otherwise i think it would be a great recipe……good luck.
Hey there… you need to list your ingredients first, then describe the prep/cooking in steps… also work on your spelling and descriptions (”put your chicken breast in there”? and “cook on stove till brown”?–WHAT are you saying???)…
Besides all these problems, you’re recipe sucks… maybe you can be a waitress in a coffee shop…
Hope this helped and Good Luck!!!…
Um, I dont think I would consider that healthy, only because you want to put this chicken on top graham crackers which are NOT good for you! You can put this chicken atop some sort of strange whole grain……you should good some interesting grains, because sooner or later you will need to know all about those!
Do you watch TOP CHEF?! I wish they would accept kids your age, because I would def. watch you wip up some crazy recipes!
No matter what anyone else says here, keep your passion for cooking going. There are a lot of trolls here that don’t know a serious question from a joke.
The key to being a Chef is the passion for the food, and the joy of cooking for other people.
When you are old enough to work, get a part-time job in a restaurant and see what you think.
As for the recipe, I will be honest.
The marinade sounds great. Next time let it sit overnight (not too much vinegar) in the fridge and see how you like it. It takes time for marinade to penetrate meat.
I like the grapes and the watermelon.
Not sure about the Graham crackers. Even if it tastes good, it needs to be a little bit familiar to be a successful recipe.
Bon Appetite!
Sounds very interesting to say the least…….You’re going to have to be a little more exacting in your measurements, tho……”a little bit” to you might be a different interpretation to other people…..”quite a bit of basil” is an infinite amount, so you’d have to say, like “1/2 cup basil leaves, coarsely chopped” would be a little easier for people to follow…….I’d also suggest losing the graham cracker and perhaps serving the chicken breast on some coarsely chopped Napa Cabbage (looks pretty and no fat, low calories) and then use the watermelon and grapes with which to garnish it……Let us know how you’re progressing from time to time…….Enjoy and keep up the creativity!!!

You had me untl you got to the grahm cracker……….yikes. I would try it once but I just dont think its gonna work.
Sounds really exotic, but really good! I love trying new kinds of food. This one I would try if I saw it in a cookbook! Great Luck!
Ok your first recipe is good , However for quick penetration of flavor i would use less oil and try to give the reader an idea of how much salts and spices . But your recipe sounds good and i am going to try it, (promise i wont use it in my kitchen ) . I wish you luck and if you would like to take a look at our group chefs_table@yahoogroups.com If you wantr to join i will admit you it would be a great place to learn.
At any rate good luck with your endevour and with your future , i love kitchens and hope you will too.
